Preparing for the Exam

Exams are now administered using Internet Based Testing (IBT) via a remote proctor!

What does this mean for you?

  • You can take the exam in the comfort of your own home or office.
  • You can pick the best day and time to take the exam within the designated exam dates.

You can take take both of the CCA exams in one window or you can split them between different windows. Exams expire after 5 years, so make sure you take both of the exams within that time frame to avoid having to retake either of them. Example of five-year time limit: February 2019 to February 2024. August 2024 would be year six and the applicant would need to start over with taking both exams.

All exams are online and administered via internet based testing (IBT) with a remote proctor. Please visit the remote proctor page to learn more.
